Summary
IT Portfolio Management Analyst I / II
As an IT Portfolio Management Analyst at APS, you will support project teams in executing day‑to‑day project‑level governance activities that ensure adherence to established standards, controls, and regulatory requirements. In this role, you help enable consistent, compliant project delivery across the technology portfolio, supporting outcomes that are high‑quality, cost‑effective, and aligned with APS’s regulatory and operational obligations. You will maintain, support, and report on key governance metrics and process artifacts, providing transparency into project health and performance. By strengthening governance discipline, improving visibility, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making, you play a critical role in advancing APS’s commitment to doing what is right for Arizona and supporting its long‑term prosperity.
- Responding to project inquiries

Minimum Requirements
IT Portfolio Management Analyst I
- Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field
- PLUS and one (1) year of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- Requires basic technical subject matter knowledge within a job area or system
IT Portfolio Management Analyst II
- Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field
- PLUS two (2) years' of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- Requires working technical knowledge gained through experience within a job area or system
Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications:
- Knowledge of digital technology asset life cycle management processes and supporting tools and services,
- Familiarity with recognized software development and project management methodologies
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure solutions from major vendors
- Familiarity with the use of reporting tools to monitor portfolio activities and analyze portfolio performance.
