Join us as an IT Solutions Engineer / Analyst I / II in Integration Services, where you’ll lead the lifecycle of software and hardware products, including next-generation technologies such as cloud engineering and mobile applications.
What your day would be like:
You are responsible for:
- Product Delivery & Performance: Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of software and hardware products, ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless functionality.
- Design to Production: Guide products from design completion through to production release, ensuring smooth deployment and operational readiness.
- API Design and Support: Collaborate with IT projects to gather requirements, design, and build APIs that meet business needs. Provide technical support to API consumers, addressing usage questions and troubleshooting issues.
- Next-Generation Technologies: Work on emerging technologies like cloud engineering and mobile applications to stay at the forefront of innovation.
- Problem Resolution and System Reliability: Troubleshoot complex software and system issues, proactively implementing solutions to optimize performance. Monitor and maintain system performance to ensure reliability and stability of critical applications.
- Security and Administration: Design and implement robust API security measures. Administer the Azure APIM Platform and manage development and production environments.
- Collaboration and On-Call Support: Partner with platform support and application support teams to resolve technical issues effectively. Provide on-call production support, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid issue resolution.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in Azure API Management (APIM), including API design, development, enhancements, and policy creation.
- Experience with API Security protocols and best practices, including OAuth, SSL, CORS, and JWT.
- Strong knowledge of integrations with services like EventHubs, IDAM solutions (e.g., PING, B2C, Azure AD).
- Proficiency in data transformations (e.g., SOAP to JSON, JSON to SOAP), XML parsing, and related technologies like XSL, Xpath, Xquery, and XSLT.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including ARM templates, CI/CD pipelines, and managing Git repositories.
- Familiarity with Developer Portals, such as Azure APIM Developer Portal, or similar platforms.
- Competence in logging and analytics tools, including ELK, Splunk, and similar platforms.
- Skilled with testing tools such as Postman and SOAPUI.
- Solid understanding of API backend connections and environment management.
- Experience working within Agile programs and methodologies.

Minimum Requirements
IT Solutions Engineer / Analyst I | Integration Services
- Bachelors' degree in Information Technology OR related field
- AND one (1) year of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- Requires basic technical subject matter knowledge within a job area or system
IT Solutions Engineer / Analyst II | Integration Services
- Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field
- AND two (2) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
- OR (for positions in IT Digital Solutions Delivery) an advanced degree in Data Science, Data/Quantitative/Business Analytics or Economics, Mathematics or Engineering with a focus in Data Science is required.
- Requires basic technical subject matter knowledge within a job area or system
Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications:
- Knowledge of programming languages; database management systems; development platforms
- Skills in understanding and explaining moderately technical issues and solutions in non-technical terms; working effectively in teams and across organizations; balancing and prioritizing between multiple work streams; collaborating with colleagues and teams in different fields across a diverse organization; solving moderate problems in own area of work
Major Accountabilities
1) Assists with the support, monitoring, and control of the electrical grid including effectively responding to the needs of control room operating staff, field personnel, and other end users
2) Interfaces with Control Center personnel and support team in supporting and enhancing the SCADA systems
3) Solves limited software support requests within the energy management system (EMS), the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system, and other electric control center automation systems
4) Utilizes approved EMS and SCADA support delivery processes and tools (specification, design, testing, and development of the EMS system)
5) Assists in basic level troubleshooting of basic aspects of the SCADA system
6) Provides simple service and implementation support
