As a Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Talent Acquisition team and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates, recruiters, and hiring leaders. From interview scheduling to onboarding, your organization and communication skills will help keep our hiring process running smoothly and efficiently.

What your day would be like:
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate logistics with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Partner with recruiters, hiring leaders, and HR to ensure an organized and efficient hiring process.
- Communicate directly with candidates to provide updates and guidance throughout the recruitment journey.
- Support recruitment operations including offer documentation, background checks, and onboarding activities.
- Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, or union representatives as needed.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure compliance with hiring policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements
Recruiting Coordinator | Talent Acquisition
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- PLUS two (2) years of Human Resources experience or other relevant work experience is required.
- Successful candidate should possess effective communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize, plan and initiate work activities for self as well as build and maintain effective working relationships with recruiters, management, candidates and general public.
- Excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, analytical skills and proficient skill level in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Working knowledge of applicable state/federal laws and regulations. PeopleSoft experience a plus.
- This position would also require working knowledge of labor union agreements if responsible for recruitment activities for union positions.
Major Accountabilities
1) Ensures end-to-end management of candidate experiences in a manner that enhances the company's employment brand.
Follows provisions of the union contract for recruitment associated with union positions.
2) Manage candidate flow through the recruitment process: Schedules interviews, conducts testing, organizes travel arrangements for candidates and coordinates interview process.
3) Reviews and screens applications/resumes and resumes for job requirements for open positions.
4) Coordinates and attends recruiting events including job fairs, open houses.
5) Coordination of the on-boarding process including new hire orientation coordination (new hire packets, goodie bags, set up meet and greet).
6) Reviews contents and updates as changes occur.
7) Serves as the Applicant Tracking System subject-matter-expert in order to ensure the system accurately reflects requisition and candidate activity for accurate reporting.
8) Manages requisition folders ensuring compliance with all policies/procedures.
9) Acts as back-up recruiter in recruiter's absence.
10) Assist Recruiter in writing and placing advertisements.
11) Effectively communicates status throughout all stages of the process.
12) Participates in various HR meetings, committees and other HR activities.
13) Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
14) May also be responsible for maintaining relationships with union business representatives to foster and continuously improve union management relations.

Hybrid Role:
Employees in hybrid roles will work both in their home offices and alongside their colleagues at an APS facility or other work location for meaningful in person engagement.
As of January 2025, hybrid-role employees will be asked to work about 40% of their time in person at an APS or other (non-home office) location.
*Employees in Hybrid roles are required to reside in Arizona (or NM for Four Corners-based employees). Role types are subject to change based on business need.
