As a Supervisor of IT Infrastructure Integration, you’ll lead efforts to ensure our critical systems remain resilient, high-performing, and aligned with business objectives. This role is essential in modernizing infrastructure, streamlining processes, and safeguarding foundational services that support disaster recovery and continuity.

 

What your day would be like:

You are responsible for:
  • Lead Upgrades, installations, and system enhancements to maintain a reliable and resilient communication infrastructure.
  • Oversee integration of infrastructure components across multiple platforms to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical systems through integrations practices
  • Support reliability of the networks and sustainability to maintain business continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with APS objectives.
  • Manage high-priority deployments and comprehensive testing to guarantee operational integrity and regulatory compliance.

Note: Onsite (Deer Valley) Monday-Friday / 6:00AM - 3:00PM. Weekend support and late evening as needed for ongoing project work. 

Minimum Requirements

Supervisor IT Infrastructure Integration

  • Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field
  • PLUS five (5) years' prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
  • PLUS 1 year leadership skills.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience


    Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of service offerings; customer service principles; various computer software applications, PCs, operating systems, and other computer-related technologies.
  • Previous work experience requiring mechanical aptitude and the safe usage of common hand tools.
  • Familiarity in Drafting or Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)
  • Skills in customer service; interpersonal, written and oral communications; supervising and working collaboratively in teams and across organizations; synthesizing feedback and adjusting plans accordingly; building strong relationships inside and outside the organization
  • Resolving incidents/problems efficiently and effectively.
  • Demonstrated practice of management approaches such as work scheduling, coaching, tactics, and process execution.
  • Ability to respond promptly to customer needs; takes a customer-centric approach to problem solving; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments; manages difficult or emotional customer situations; solves conflict; maintains confidentiality
  • Provides integration support for critical grid telecommunications components including but not limited to, TDM/IP Microwave, IP Networking, Public and Private Wireless communications system, TDM multiplexing, DWDM, Sonet

Major Accountabilities

1. Leads and directs construction efforts statewide to provide efficient reliable power to our customers.
2. Manages exempt professional or non-exempt technical employees (typically entry to intermediate level)
3. Defines short-term goals, priorities, and operational plans to ensure team goals are aligned with the goals and priorities of the organization 
4. Adjusts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
5. Makes decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plans, with limited guidance and oversight from manager
6. Creates and promotes a productive work environment, ensuring that necessary skills and competencies are in place to meet the goals of the unit
7. Coaches team members on performance, completes employee performance evaluations and recommends pay actions
8. Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and/or customers
